Scan is the fastest and most user-friendly QR reader and barcode scanner available. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod came with a built-in scanner, this would be it.
HOW THE APP WORKS
To scan a QR code or barcode simply open the app, point the camera at the code, and you’re done! There is no need to take a photo or press a button. Scan will automatically recognize any code your camera is pointing at.
When scanning a QR code, if the code contains a website URL, you will automatically be taken to the site. If the code just contains text, youll immediately see it. For other formats such as phone numbers, email addresses, or contact info, you will be prompted to take the appropriate action.
PRODUCT BARCODES
Scan recognizes all of the popular barcode types (UPC, EAN, and ISBN) and shows you pricing, reviews, and more about any products you scan. Barcode scanning requires a newer phone in order to work reliably. Cameras on older devices do not provide the resolution or focus required for barcode scanning.

REQUIREMENTS

This app is very useful. I use it often while shopping to get more details on products. Its very straight forward and easy to use. I Love It!
More and more products are using codes on their packaging or advertising. Even event planners have codes on their advertising. THIS SCANNER is the quick and easy way to access the coded info. 4 out of 5 stars because occasionally it balks, and cant tell me why.
Works really quickly once in use, specially when I use it for how to use or DIY videos in Bass fishing magazines. Also works for scanning for more information on a certain items that youre interested into.
Sometimes it doesnt scan the code right away, but it usually does eventually.
Some bad moments
All scans show: 400 Bad barcode type. Valid values are UPC, UPC_A, EAN_13, GTIN, GTIN14
Didnt work for me in canada, would not scan and send me to site or give me any info on product
The app crashes whenever it is opened. This has been happening for nearly 6 months now. Horrible for an app that you must pay for. I do not recommend the purchase.
Horrible app. Doesnt work at all and wants all your personal information. Dont waste your time on this one.
Each Time I try to have information, the app found nothing...
it scans fast but every barcode comes back with a home theatre system. Different brands but the same basic product and it doesnt matter if Im scanning Pepsi, benylin, a chocolate bar, etc
