Scan - QR Code, Barcode Reader App Reviews

This app has me going into my photos to get it to even attempt to scan, then doesnt respond to the codes when in camera view. Doesnt focus. Its kinda worthless.

I still dont know why Apple doesnt have built in support for such a simple awesome feature such as this.

This app knew to launch my trello app from a QR code I printed that leads to a Trello checklist. Its lightning fast and really easy to configure.

Sometimes find information. Often finds nothing. Not even information that is easy to google. Often makes me look dumb for trying. Other times I figure out if the sale price is really a sale. Hope to find a better app.

Cant seem to find anything I scan..... I than have to manually put in the #s in google search. Need to find one that works

Wouldnt scan at all just spent money on it then right after used a free one and it worked like a charm

This scanner works great on QR codes. Not super fast but no technical issues and worth paying for vs. free scanners.

Why is it $1.99? There are plenty of other apps that do the same thing for free. And why does it need to know your location all the time? I just dont understand what exactly I paid for here. No ads? I could live with a few ads if the app gave me something substantial in return but this app feels like a half baked attempt at a premium product but without any real premium features. Also, the app does not scan directly from product bar codes anymore - and Im using an iPhone 6s, so its not an issue with an "older device camera". It seems that the app does not fully utilize the iPhones camera resolution, fails to focus properly, and therefore most codes dont resolve right. Instead I now need to switch to the camera, take a picture of the barcode or QR code, switch back to Scan, and then use the scan-from-photo option most of the time, which makes it very cumbersome to use. Boo!

App works great, but your website has been down for months!! How am I supposed to update my QR codes or create new ones? I emailed support this past summer and never heard back. Useful app for scanning QRs. Wish you could create and edit QR after logging in to your Scan account

Havent used it to much but when I do it performs flawlessly. Have to figure out where it saves results. Found my last result in Scan itself but next day it was gone. My fault for not finding what happens

I can use it for my school.But the only problem is that it wont let me switch views.Thats why I gave it 4 stars.I will give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you fix my problem.Other than that,Its really useful.Not a waste of money.
