I wish it worked as well as the author claims

I bought this app trusting the claims made by the author that its the best product out there for scanning barcodes and looking up a corresponding product. I shouldve known better than to base my decision on the review the author made.

When I use this app to scan barcodes, such as on books in my library, it always treats it as a telephone number and wants to make a call.

Another FREE scanning app out there does the right thing: it has a button to look the barcode up on either Amazon or Google, and it translates the barcode properly. Its camera interface also seems to respond a lot more quickly.

Ive learned my lesson. Ill never buy another product based on the testimony of the author.
